Sem Lastik was established in 1972 in Bursa which is one of the important centers of the automotive industry. Having started activities as a small workshop, ?em Lastik A.?. secured, within a short period, a good place in the automotive replacement market thanks to its quality and service mentality. It improved itself in parallel with the automotive industry which gained a big momentum in the ‘80s, and drew the attention of the main assembly industry companies active in this sector.
It places special emphasis on investments to increase its productivity and product quality, in view of the more and more growing and improving manufacturing industry sector and the everincreasing international competition in the world. Directed towards this aim, it is structured in such a way that it orients the personnel towards research & development suitable to universal qualifications, and supports this with modern apparatuses and equipment. As a result of its efforts, it received successful results in audits carried out by the main assembly industry companies; in addition, it has been certificated by the German Certification Institution, T?V Management Service, M?nich/Germany with the ISO 9001:2000 Quality Management System Certificate. Today it has grown to be a modern plant which produces antivibration connection and assembly elements made of rubber and rubber-metal composition, at the location Ovaak?a-Bursa in a surface area of 12.000 sq.m, of which 6.000 sq.m is closed.
?em Lastik A.?. products are used as original equipment in the main assembly industry companies, such as, BMC, FORD, MAN, MERCEDES. Through its dealers' network consisting of selected automotive firms expanded throughout Turkey in the replacement market, Our Company provides service to all its customers with its wide range of products. Our company, which has placed emphasis on foreign markets particularly as from 1990, is being preferred not only in countries without spare parts production, but also in countries, such as EU countries where spare parts production is available.
